I consider myself lucky to be in a family which is always filled with laughter and fun. There are six members in my family but the most interesting character is my brother, Han.

Han is a twelve-year-old boy of average size, with thin lips and a fair complexion. His black hair is always kept very short as he never combs his hair neatly except when scolded by mother. Wearing a pair of spectacles. Han looks like a quiet and bashful boy. However, what others do not realize is that he is actually a hyper-active boy who has a very good sense of humor

Everyday when he reaches home after school, he will skip up the stairs in my house, singing and making all sorts of strange sounds. Sometimes, he tiptoes up my house or burst out into full voice as soon as he steps into the house. At home, my brother always jokes with us and behaves like a cartoon character. He will also imitates the "kungfu" movements which he learns from the television program. During world cup season, my brother even play football at home.

Even though my brother is very playful, he excels in his studies and always tops the class for almost every examination. I wonder how he gets results with flying colors as he seldom sit down to do revision. Perhaps he had listened attentively to what the teachers said.

Han also performs well during elocution contest and piano examinations. with his super memory, he has memorized almost every piano pieces he favored and created his special lyrics to perform in front of us. Sadly, there seemed no way to keep his mouth shut except when he is sick. Han can draw very well, too. His favorite subject is Science and he often studies those thick encyclopedias in my house.

So, this is my brother, the most interesting member in my family. I like him very much and I hope that he will succeed in future.

Lai Jun Yi ( 5 Setia )

I study in Pai Chee Secondary School. My school is located on top of hill. The school compound is very clean and beautiful. My class is Five Setia. All of us study sceince. There are twenty-three pupils in my class. Eight of them are girls and fifteen are boys. My class is the moisiest class in the school. But, we live like one big family. We always help each other.

Lai jun Yi is the most intelligent and youngest student in our class. i am older than her by about a year. She has black hair. Her hair is short and straight. She is thin and fair. Her height is about 157 centimetres. She wears a pair of spectacles. Although she tops our class, she is not proud. She always helps the weak students. Jun yi is a kind, helpful, friendly and polite girl. She is a respondsible prefect and the secretary of the English Society.

During her free time, she likes playing the piano, reading and drawing. Jun yi also loves to joke with us. She always smiles. Sometimes, I think that she is mad. Although, she does very well in examinations, she is not very good in sports. She is also representing our school in debates, essay-writing or elocution contest.

Another classmate is Chin Jeou Soon. He is the funniest boy in 5 Setia. He has black hair with strands of white. His height is 176 centimeters. He has strange ears. His ears will move when he is talking or singing. He is a fair and cute boy. when we are bored with our studies, he always cheers us up with his funny antics. He looks like Mr. Bean.

Sometimes, when I talk about his secrets, he will be embarrassed and then his face will turn red. He is an active and a talkative boy. But, he is quite hardworking and serious when teacher is teaching.

I am proud and happy to have such friends. I appreciate their friendship. Finally, I hope all of us will always be friends.

I looked at the clock on the wall and it showed 10.00pm. I wondered, why mum and dad had not reached home yet. It was so late. I waited unpatiently for a while. Soon, I became extremely worry and I could hear my heart beating at an incredible speed. I thought of my parents.

Just at that particular moment, the phone rang loudly. Immediately, I rushed to answer the phone.

"Hello!" a strange man spoke in a very nervous manner. "Your...... your parents had met with a serious accident.

"On no! How are my parents? I asked in a frightening voice.

They have been admitted into the hospital and now they are in unstable condition," the man answered.

"Hello! Hello! Hello!"

I became furious and extremely worried about my parents.

" What am I going to do now? Hospital? and who is the stranger in the phone?" I thought to myseft.

Without wasting anytime, I closed the windows and locked the doors. Then I rushed to get my motorbike and sped off. I made up my mind to go to the General Hospital first. As I reached the hospital, I rushed to the receptionist and asked about my parents.

"Sorry, there are no patients involed in such an accident today." Said the receptionist.

This was indeed annoying me. I quickly got my motorbike again and sped off to another hospital. I had gone to almost all the hospitals in the city. Unfortunately, I could not find my parents. I was perspiring. I could do nothing.

As I reached home, I had the shock of my life to find that the front door of my house was opened widely. The floor was scattered with furniture. The televion set and the radio had vanished. when I enterd my parents' room, I found the room in a mess. All the valueable things had been stolen.

"Oh, dear, how sad my mother will be, when she find her lovely neacklace missing."

Soon, I realized that the caller had tricked me. Immediately, I informed the police station. Finally, my parents arrived home. They had a great fright. I told them briefly about what had happened.

How stupid I was. How could I have belived a strange. I had learned a good lesson. We must not easily trust strangers.

Indeed, it was an unforgetable experience.
